Ginefiv was founded in 1987, and have been pioneers in the field of sterility and IVF treatments in Spain. In 1988, their work led to the birth of the first baby resulting from the use of a frozen embryo in Madrid, and in 1996, their work led to the birth of the first baby conceived through an Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI). At present, they treat the largest number of infertility patients in Madrid.
The Assisted Reproduction team in Spain
Ginefiv have an Assisted Reproduction team, made up of more than 60 professionals specialising in gynaecology, biology, urology, nursing and psychology. The team is led by Professor Bajo Arenas and Dr Martínez de Arenaza.

The team always work in a co-ordinated manner to, analyse, evaluate and suggest the best solutions for each individual patient, at all times working under the direct supervision of human reproduction specialists, Dr Bajo and Dr Arenaza.
Patient support team
Ginefiv are also aware of the emotional repercussions that the discovery of fertility problems can have on the couple, and strive to provide couples with the most compassionate and friendly care possible, as well as all the necessary information. In order to make patients feel as comfortable as possible in the Centre, they have a dedicated Patient Support Team. They are available at all times to answer your questions about the techniques, planning and organisation of your treatment, the costs of the treatments and consultations, medical covers, psychological support, etc. The team is multi lingual and includes, English, Italian, French and German speakers, which can be contacted between 8:00am to 7:00pm.
Assisted reproduction clinic and facilities
The clinic itself is built within a hospital infrastructure, more specifically within the Clínica Belén Maternity Hospital, with gynaecologists and anesthetists on call 24 hours a day and equipped with the most advanced technology.
