Dentist training and accreditation in Spain

For dentists in Spain the regulatory board is the Consejo General de Colegios de Odontólogos y Estomatólogos (otherwise known as the Spanish Dental Association) which is based in Madrid (Villanueva 11 - 7, E - 28001 Madrid.  Dentists in Spain should be registered with this regulating body in order to practice, and they should also hold a primary dental qualification like the BDS, BChD, or the Licenciate in Dental Surgery (LDS). 
 
Dentists may also be members of various societies which represent the many limbs of dentistry, such as the Spanish Society of Endodontics.
